OUR HISTORY
Carpet is in our blood. Our history of carpet weaving goes back to 1917, long before India became Independent, when our forefather started weaving on loom. It started from a small room of his house and flourished as a family business. Soon his honesty and dedication drew the attention of a foreign company M/s Barlow which was in export business in Bhadohi-Varanasi belt, India for a long time. That is how a carpet made in Bhadohi earned a name in America. Getting an incentive, our grandfather established a firm M/s Akhtar Aleem and Wakeel Ahmad in 1955,one of the earliest companies in Bhadohi, which exported carpets to England. But the real job was done by our father Mr. Ashfaque Ahmad who is awarded in AICMA, (All India Carpet Manufacturer Association) by his best designing and colour matching. It was in 2011, and since he never looked back despite various challenges and changes in the industry.he has always been known as an initiator when it comes to innovation and revolution in carpets.
